North Central Wisconsin Area Health Education Center (NCAHEC) and Marshfield Clinic are sponsoring a health careers camp for high school students residing in the NCAHEC service area who are interested in pursuing a health career. The North Central WI Area Health Education Center service area includes the following counties: Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Marathon, Pepin, Pierce, Portage, Taylor, Waupaca, and Wood. Camp activities will be held all around the Wausau area, Marshfield, and Stevens Point. Students will be staying at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point campus. A $100.00 camp reservation fee is due upon notification of acceptance to this camp. (Financial assistance available, if needed). In addition to the online student application and essay, there are online teacher reference forms that must be completed by two of the student’s high school teachers, one of whom must be a Math or Science teacher and the other an English or Fine Arts teacher.
